- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Organize and participate in school events and activities to engage families and the community.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that reflects the children’s work and interests.
- Utilize technology and educational tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Support children in developing social skills and conflict resolution strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid Massachusetts teaching license for PreK education.
- At least 3 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children and families.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
